Our team arrived at the Yas Marina Formula 1 race track in early March to start familiarising ourselves with the Super Formula vehicles equipped with the autonomous system suite and then adapting and testing the algorithm to the vehicle. During the first phase of testing, the teams will work together and share all data. This phase included the shakedown test, which was carried out for the first time together with the TUM Autonomous Motorsport team from the University of Munich. The next major milestone was the first track test at Yas Marina.
The work will soon move to the next phase, when we will get our own car and start preparing and fine-tuning the final hardware set for the A2RL race. It's going to be an exciting few days ahead and with every completed lap we are getting closer and closer to our goals!
