Represent your company at one of the biggest autonomous competitions, the A2RL!

We have been shortlisted for the A2RL (Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League) self-driving formula car competition between the world's top engineering universities and research teams, for which we are looking for sponsors.

Join the self-driving race and science festival at the iconic Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit! The event was organised by United Arab Emirates-based Aspire, a member of the Abu Dhabi Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and a pioneer in the region's technological development. Aspire, as the organiser of the race, has won the support of Dallara, Yas Marina and Japan Race Promotion. The competing teams include two Italian teams from the University of Milan and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, two German teams from Constructor University and the Technical University of Munich, a team from the Beijing Institute of Technology and Khalifa University, and a team from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

A2RL will showcase the exciting impact of artificial intelligence on our lives and the incredible potential of autonomy.

Self-driving technology is developing at a remarkable pace and has the potential to redefine travel and transportation. A2RL has brought together skilled teams of researchers, programmers and developers from around the world, including us, who experiment with cutting-edge technologies on racing vehicles, all with the aim of reshaping the future of mobility through extreme sports.

The organisers expect around 10,000 visitors to the festival and the tournament, currently reaching nearly 149 million people across all A2RL platforms.

How we got to the A2RL competition

Developing self-driving algorithms is our flagship research project. To achieve our goals in this area, we participate in benchmark competitions.

Autonomous motor racing is a rapidly evolving field that combines cutting-edge technologies to create high-performance vehicles that can sense their environment, make decisions and compete effectively without human intervention.

Autonomous racing is not only a new sport, but also a platform for research and development in autonomous vehicle technology.

By participating in such competitions, researchers and engineers can test and refine their algorithms and systems in situations that would otherwise not be reproducible, helping to advance autonomy.

Our first such competitions were the F1Tenth races, where we tested our algorithms on 1:10 scale vehicles compared to real racing vehicles and benchmarked our skills against the international scientific field. We participated in the 2023 F1Tenth race in London and Detroit. In Detroit we finished 4th and 5th.

Then we took part in the Indy Autonomous Challenge simulation competition series, where we tested our algorithm in a simulation environment in various challenges. In the end, we finished in 4th place overall in the competition.

We scaled up and now we are taking part in a self-driving formula car race, the A2RL, in the United Arab Emirates. The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) will take place 27th April as part of a major event called the "Festival of Autonomy". Our team has been on site since the beginning of March, continuously testing its race car and self-driving algorithm.
