The second season of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) begins

In April this year, we participated in our first self-driving formula car competition, the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League, among the world's leading technical universities and research institutes. The race was a long process of preparation and as a result of all our hard work, we achieved a result we could be really proud of. We finished 5th in lap time, making us the best rookie team..

It is now official that the second season will start with the addition of new teams. Soon we will be back at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi for the testing and preparation period. We have learnt a lot from last season and we are looking forward to getting back to work with renewed vigour. The competitive yet cohesive scientific community brought together by the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League aims to push the boundaries of self-driving mobility technologies, helping to unlock the potential of autonomous transport systems and promote their widespread adoption.

The competition has received significant media attention, reaching more than 11 million people internationally, according to the series' estimates. At the national level, we also reached nearly 1 million people through TV appearances, radio spots, podcasts and social media.
